The main
goals of the festival are -
| To create an annual forum in which a wide diversity of local, national and international films of various genres can be seen in Liverpool. To enable screenings of films based on quality, sincerity and originality from all the corners of the world by all types of people. |
| As part of the festivals continual activities we aim to provide special screenings and events based on this ethos of quality and originality in filmmaking. This will include local filmmaker’s screenings, networking and also special screenings of selected feature films. |
| To facilitate communication and partnership between local independent and amateur filmmakers, commercial organisations, academic institutions, enthusiasts, and community groups. |
| Promote and raise the profile of Liverpool as a city for a venue for an International film festival location. |
